Welcome to Maple Valley Ranch (known around here as MVR) - we’re so glad you found us. We are a wholly regenerative cattle ranch in middle Tennessee (yes, there are ranches east of the Mississippi!), focused on producing quality grass-finished beef, while stewarding and improving the land we call home. We do things a bit differently around here, and we think you’ll taste and see the difference!

Order Your Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef Share

We offer three different order sizes so that you get the right quantity for yourself, your freezer space, and your household.

Yield varies by individual animal, and you only pay for what you receive.

Quarter Beef

Perfect for the lone ranger, or a couple who eats less than an average amount of beef in a year. If you have limited freezer space, choose this option and split it with a friend!

Half Beef

Perfect for a couple, or small family. Approximately 90 lbs ground beef (in 1lb packages) and 90 lbs steak and roasts.

Whole Beef

Perfect for an average family of 4 or larger. When you order a “whole beef”, you have the option of filling out your custom butchering instructions. Choose your cuts!

Every step of the way, from masterful rotational grazing techniques, to the expertly executed custom butchering and dry aging process, we take great pride in supplying our community with healthy local beef.

The Process

The Maple Valley Difference

Our cattle are rotated daily onto fresh clean pastures, grazing a diverse sward of native nutrient rich forages. We simply utilize intensive rotational grazing, good land management and animal husbandry, to replace the need for antibiotics, hormones, steroids, chemical wormers, pesticides, herbicides, grain and processed dietary supplements. Somewhere along the way, we forgot that beef cattle and ruminants have thrived for thousands of years without these modern synthetic interventions.

Prepare

Get your freezer space ready! We will contact you approximately 2-4 weeks before your beef will be ready.

Delivery

Giddy up! Your beef is on the way. Schedule delivery to your home, or come on down to the ranch for pickup.

Because grass-finished beef is a slow-food process, deposits are non-refundable. If however, we are unable to deliver your beef for any reason or fault of our own, we will refund you your deposit. We treat our customers fairly, like family.
